ENHANCEMENTS
- Limiting Share Ownership for Trusted Share Creation with Shared Mailbox
When creating a Trusted Share using a shared mailbox, the system currently assigns all members of the shared mailbox as co-owners. For mail-enabled security groups, each group is expanded, and all members become co-owners.
This enhancement allows the customer success team to input a list of email-enabled security groups that will not be expanded for determining share co-owners. These excluded groups will not be added to the share in any way. The exclusion list will apply to all Trusted Shares created by all organization users.
- User Information Population in SPO Site Columns
When a file is uploaded to a Trusted Share created from SharePoint content, the system can now add the acting user's information to a column within the SharePoint Online view for the share’s content. This includes two event attributes: the email address of the user who uploaded the file and the date/time of the event. The business requirement for this enhancement is to trigger an automation flow using Power Automate to process the uploaded file and include the acting user information in internal applications.
- Support for Authorization Code Flow for Forgerock
This enhancement introduces support for the authorization code flow for Forgerock. This update will enable a more secure and efficient way to handle user authentication and authorization processes when the Forgerock IdP system is used to authenticate users.
BUG FIXES
- An issue in the email_listing_management API, where passing a list ID in the URL did not return the specific record but instead returned all lists without considering the passed list ID, has been fixed. The API now correctly returns a single list corresponding to the passed list ID.
- An issue where the "Search" functionality within Trusted Shares did not return the expected results has been fixed. Some users reported that files were not being returned when searched for. This issue has been resolved, and the search functionality now correctly returns the files being searched for.
- An issue where disabling "Everyone" still allowed Co-owner access to a share has been fixed. Previously, Co-owners retained access when only the Owner should have had access. This issue has been resolved, and Co-owners are now correctly disabled, ensuring that only the Owner has access.
