eShare 157 Release Notes
ENHANCEMENTS
- More Robust Attributes When Searching for SharePoint Sites During Site Linking
Currently, an admin can search and link SharePoint sites within the SharePoint Sites page of the Admin Console using only a site group name. We have added the ability to link SharePoint sites using the following additional attributes:
- URL
- Site ID
- Group Email
- Group ID
- Group Name
- Support for Top-Level Domains in Custom Allow/Block Lists
Admins can now add entire Top-Level Domains (e.g., com, org) to custom allow/block lists through the "Allow/Block lists" tab in the admin console and they can also match sub-domains. These lists can be applied to sharing policies. This feature enhances flexibility and precision in managing access based on domain types.
- Enhanced Audit Events for Policy Decision Point (PDP) Decisions
To improve the PDP Decision audit events, when Access Based Access Control (ABAC) and/or Allow/Block lists are enabled in a sharing policy, we are enhancing audit events. New fields such as "PDP Outcome" and "PDP Source" have been added to provide more detailed insights into these decisions. This improvement will allow for better tracking and transparency in the decision-making process during policy enforcement.
- View Share Options in the Organization Shares Page of Admin Console
Before Release 157, admins could not view the selected sharing options and applied sharing policies for Trusted Shares created in their organization. To address this, we added a button that allows admins to easily view the applied policy and selected options for each Trusted Share.
BUG FIXES
- Users were unable to move items when trying to move them to a subfolder in a long path. The issue occurred because the expanded path would overlap and cover the top folders, preventing users from selecting them, and the expanded path would not collapse. This issue has now been resolved.
