NEW FEATURES

Trusted Sharing module is now the Personal Cloud Storage module
We have made a change to the Trusted Sharing module to which sharing policies can be assigned by organization administrators. In addition to changing its name to Personal Cloud Storage, this module now governs all Trusted Sharing from personal cloud storage accounts (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox and Box). This change allows administrators to explicitly assign a sharing policy to shares created from personal cloud file storage. This mirrors our existing ability to explicitly map sharing policies to SharePoint sites. This change was requested by clients whose data protection and governance policies require more stringent controls when files are shared from OneDrive, relative to file sharing from SharePoint.
ENHANCEMENTS
-
“Direct Link” location for files within Trusted Shares
We have added the ability for owners and co-owners of a Trusted Share to navigate directly to the native cloud provider (e.g., SharePoint Online) where files and folders within the share are stored. This is especially useful when the files/folders are added to the share via native Microsoft links. In these cases the files/folders may existing within multiple cloud file storage locations (i.e., within multiple SharePoint Online sites). Direct Links can be found by selecting a file/folder and clicking on the information icon, the option “Direct Link” will be present for each file/folder in a Trusted Share.
-
Improved UX for initiating SMS notifications in Secure Conversations
Users that use the @mention feature within Secure Conversations to send SMS notifications to share participants of a Trusted Share have an improved UX for capturing and validating the participants mobile phone number.
