CWP 118 Release Notes
NEW FEATURES
- Secure Conversations
A major update has been introduced in the Secure Conversations portion of Trusted Shares. During Trusted Share creation, users can now select between three distinct modes for Secure Conversations, that define visibility of replies between recipients and owners of Trusted Shares.
-"Owners compose only" limits the ability to create messages to Owners/Co-owners of the Trusted Share. The generated messages can be seen by all recipients of the Trusted Share but external recipients cannot post new messages.
-"Private reply to owner only" Recipients can reply to public posts made by the owner of the Trusted Share. All replies made by the recipients are visible only to the owner of the Trusted Share. Additionally, recipients can generate new posts.
-"All Collaborators compose/reply"The default way of handling replies, all recipients and owners of the Trusted Share can post replies in Secure Conversations, with no limitation to the visibility of their posts.
Older Trusted Shares created with the "Allow direct messages with me only" option will be converted to "Private reply to onwer only"
The "Export" functionality for Secure Conversations will respect all the above settings when generating the exported file.
Please note some limitations apply. Any selection made during the creation of the Trusted Share regarding Secure Conversation modes is final, and cannot be altered once the Trusted Share has been generated. This limitation will be alleviated in an upcoming release.
Additionally, Trusted Shares generated by Secure Mail Gateway should default to "All Collaborators compose/reply", when configuring the Sharing Policy to be assigned to the Secure Mail Gateway module. - Unique explainer file for each SharePoint site
A new feature has been introduced for SharePoint sites that have the ShareWithMeLink enabled. Organization admins can now define a unique explainer file per SharePoint site.
To enable this feature, administrators will need to first enable SWML for each SharePoint site, and subsequently select the "Manage Share" option. This will allow them to override the default behavior and upload a different explainer file to be available to end users. - Manage Organization overhaul
An overhaul of the Manage Organization screen for administrators is introduced with this release. The original splash screen with the list of users and licensing has been deprecated and all information/configuration options have been added as separate sections in the Management Dashboard page.
The following pages have been given their own sections in Management Dashboard:
- User Licensing
- User Management
- Organization Shares
- Mass Decrypt
- Organization Auditing
ENHANCEMENTS
- Allow/Deny list for File types
Additional support for allow/deny list of file types has been added. This will provide users with the flexibility to create various combinations of allowed or restricted file types, mimicking the functionality of Allow/Deny lists for Domains/Emails. - Copy/Paste of email addresses
An enhancement has been introduced that allows the input fields (where applicable), for email addresses to accept copy/pasted information from Outlook and Google contacts/emails. Any excessive information will be sanitized and only the email address will be added in the input field. - My Shares section loading times
A significant update on the My Shares page has allowed for significantly faster loading times when requesting the page.
BUG FIXES
- There was a minor issue when posting a reply in a Trusted Share in mobile view, where the top ribbon would disappear. This has been corrected and the ribbon should once again be always visible.
- Attempting to upload a file with no content in a Trusted Share generated no feedback for the user. It will now display an error message, informing the user that the file has no content and it cannot be uploaded.
