NEW FEATURES
- Email notifications for e-Share Organization Administrators
Organization administrators will now receive an email notification when e-Share's service account is no longer able to access a cloud provider. For instance, if MFA was enabled for the service account thereby causing Microsoft to require authentication again.
The email will contain the account name to assist the administrator identify the account and provide steps to remedy the issue.
ENHANCEMENTS
- Unsupported formats in File Viewer
An enhancement has been introduced that will inform users attempting to view a file with an unsupported format, to download the file to view it locally. Additionally, right clicking a file with unsupported format will no longer present the "View" option in the right click menu and will only have the "download" option available (if Sharing Policy permits).
Additionally, file formats that are not supported by our viewer will now have an icon associated with them to notify the user.
- SMS notifications
SMS messages received by users to verify their phone number will now contain the name of the Organization requesting verification to help users identify the origin of the SMS. - Campaigns
Trusted Shares generated via campaigns, will now generate a bounce message for the owner of the Trusted Share, if one or more recipients of the campaign has an invalid/nonexistent email address. - Management Dashboard improvements
A minor enhancement has been introduced that consolidates the headers of all the options available in Management dashboard to utilize the same style/font for a unified UX approach. - Changes to Trusted Share options menu
When viewing the options of a Trusted Share, a new enhancement has been introduced that changed the "Reset" button to "Cancel", and the Save option is active only when a change in the Trusted Share options takes place. The "Cancel" button now has two functions, when a Trusted Share option(s) has been altered, it will now revert the option back to its original value. If no option has been changed the "cancel" button will close the options tab. - Cloud providers menu in e-Share portal
The Cloud Providers sub menu will no longer be visible to users that have no cloud provider associated with them.
BUG FIXES
- There was an issue where a newly created Sharing Policy would not display any Sharing modules assigned to it - but upon selecting it to add one, it would display Trusted Sharing as an already assigned module. This has been corrected.
