NEW FEATURES
- Allow/Deny support for individual Emails
Organization Administrators now have the ability to specify individual Email addresses to Allow/Deny access to Trusted Shares from specific users. An Admin can specify a Domain to be Allowed/Denied and at the same time introduce an exception for a user with an Email Address from that Domain. The extra field added under the List of Domains will alter its logic based on the active filter. For example, if an Administrator adds Google in the list of Domains that are allowed, adding an Email address in the field below will block that specific address from receiving any Trusted Shares and vice versa.
The new functionality can be found in Manage Organization-->Management Dashboard-->Sharing Policies. Select and Edit a Sharing Policy and the new field will be present under the Allow/Deny sharing for specific domains setting, as shown below,
- Secure Mail Gateway (SMG) support for Allow/Deny List
A new functionality has been introduced that governs how SMG handles Recipients that are in a Deny list. Up until now if a Recipient was in a Deny List, SMG would remove the blocked Recipient from receiving the Trusted Share. With the new functionality, the message (and consequently Trusted Share) will always reach the blocked Recipient, and a message will be displayed that informs the blocked Recipient that he needs to request access from the Trusted Share owner. The owner will receive an email notification that he needs to act upon to approve or deny the Recipients access. Consequently, content within the Trusted Share that contains Documents protected by sensitivity labels, will honor any limitations and Recipients will need to request a temporary override access from the owner to view the content.
Secure Mail Gateway will retain both the old mode of functionality where the blocked Recipient is removed and the new support for Allow/Deny lists.
ENHANCEMENTS
- Warning Message display for existing SharePoint Site
When an Org Administrator attempts to add a SharePoint site via Corporate Cloud Providers page, that is already linked in CWP, he will now receive a message informing him that this specific site already exists. This will hopefully help Org Admins with multiple SharePoint sites added to keep track of what has been added already. - Close active windows on mouse click outside window area
In CWP (My shares/Shared with Me and share page), when a user has a dialog box open ( Recipients tab, Sharing Policies etc.), it is now possible to close the window when clicking with the mouse cursor outside the active window area. - Mandatory Login for Co-Owners
Co-Owners of a Trusted Share will now always be required to Login when attempting to access said Trusted Share.
