Support for individual Email Addresses in Allow/Deny Domain list Organization Administrators are now able to add individual Emails in the Allow/Deny Domain list Policy that can be found in Sharing Policies tab as well as the Devices Policy tab, that will enable Administrators a more targeted approach to define access for individuals.
Support for Label override in Sharing Policies A new Sharing Policy setting has been introduced, that will enable users to request an override to allow them to view Files within a Trusted Share that are protected by Labels. Owners of the Trusted Share will be presented with a new request type found in "Manage Recipients" tab that will show the user making the request and the Label name they wish to circumvent for a limited time (48 hours).
When the Recipient of a Trusted Share attempts to gain access to a Labeled file, a dialog box will pop-up where they can request access to the file and optionally provide a reason for the request.
ENHANCEMENTS
Grouped Sharing Policies As we provide more policy settings for Trusted Sharing, the UI has grown difficult to navigate. Sharing Policies have been grouped together according to category and separated by collapsible tabs, providing the user a better experience. The following categories have been created.
-Permissions -Collaboration -Authentication
Additionally, the "Reset" and "Save" buttons will always remain visible.
Task Manager Enhancement Within a Trusted Share view, the Task Manager will now auto expand when an action takes place to provide the users with better feedback. When the action is complete, the task manager will return to its collapsed position. The following actions will trigger this new behavior:
-Download -Upload -Copy/Move -Duplicate -Delete
This new behavior will be present in the "My Shares" tab for Trusted Share owners and in the "Shared With Me" tab for Recipients and co-owners.
Bot protection for One Time Password Trusted Shares created with the One Time Password functionality enabled will provide more protection against brute force bot attacks. When OTP is enabled, if an incorrect password is inserted 5 times, the Trusted Share will not be accessible for 15 minutes for that user.
Leverage Dropbox itemID instead of File Path A backend update has been performed to leverage Dropbox's itemID instead of File Path. This update will resolve the issue of Trusted Shares breaking when a file or folder is renamed in Dropbox.
User accounts that have been disabled by an Organization Administrator will be presented with a more specific message when attempting to login in CWP that will direct users to contact their Org Administrator to resolve the issue. The new wording will hopefully direct users to contact the appropriate party to help them resolve their issue in a timely manner.
