New Features
- User Interface improvements
Multiple UI improvements have been made to assist navigation in My Shares page. These include,
-Added an Icon next to the Trusted Share title (Folder/File) to help identify between Folders shared or single Files shared.
-Added an up/down arrow next to each Recipient Name in Secure Conversations. This will enable users to better manage the Secure Conversations panel and also allow for the Reply button to be present on each message.
-When opening a File in a Trusted Share the message "Loading..." has been changed to "Opening File..."
-Moved the "Previous" and "Next" arrows to the top of the File Preview window when previewing a file within a Trusted Share, to better align with OneDrive design so it is consistent for the User.
-As a Trusted Share owner, when accessing a Trusted Share, the left navigation Panel containing "Shared With me" , "My Shares" etc. will now persist for the User.
-Added a new option in the Actions drop down menu for Trusted Shares called "Open in new Tab" that will open the Trusted Share in a new browser Tab. - Controlling where a Sharing Policy is presented as a user selectable option
We have enabled those that can define and edit sharing policies, to define which UI's elements (we are now calling Modules) that a policy is visible/selectable by end users in that UI. This feature allows the organization to create a number of use-case-specific sharing policies that would not be visible to end users, but are used to drive other activities in the organization. An example would be to have sharing policies that are only used by an API integration feature, but are not used by end users (eg. Payroll pay slip displays sharing policies). Another example, create sharing policies associated with email and have them only visible in the Outlook Add-in. This is a pre-cursor to a future feature being worked on which allows an organization to have user specific lists of sharing modules. The current list of modules that a sharing policy can be visible in is: Trusted Shares, Share with Me, Secure Mail Gateway, Office and Outlook Add-in, Azure Blob and Campaigns. This editing option is at the bottom of the edit screen for sharing policies.
Note: Do NOT remove Trusted Sharing from the Policy set as Default. This will break the Trusted Sharing functionality when a user attempts to create a Trusted Share. If this is the case, simply adding the option back in will resolve the issue. - New Attributes captured for File Based Audit Events
Two new attributes have been added to file based audit events that are being created: File Size and Microsoft (MS) File Sensitivity Labels (when a label exists). The File Size attributes is added to all file events. The file sensitivity label attribute will only be displayed on "File Open" events when a MS Sensitivity Label is defined for the File. - New behavior for Trusted Shares that require OTP and TOU (for internal recipients)
To simplify and streamline Trusted Share access for users that are part of the same organization as the Trusted Share owner, we accept the user login as fulfilling all authentication requirements and do not prompt these users for OTP or TOU when configured in the trusted share.
