Steps to remove encryption on selected folders
From the Web Portal:
- Login to e-Share Web Interface and navigate to 'Cloud Provider' tab
- Right click on the folder you desire to remove encryption, select 'Details' in the displayed menu options
- In the displayed Details pop-up, click on 'Remove Privacy' button. Confirm when prompted to being decryption process
Depending on the number and total size of files in the selected folder, the process to remove encryption could take several minutes. You do not need to remain logged in to e-Share portal for the process to complete.
From the e-Share Client App:
- In the System tray, right click on the e-Share icon
- Select 'Open e-Share View'
- Select the Cloud Provider
- At the top level of folders where you see the Lock icon, right-click and if available select Remove privacy. If you do not have that option, then you need to go down another level until you have that option available.
