eShare 149 Release Notes
FEATURES
- One-Time Password (OTP) delivery method selection
Admins can now determine the OTP delivery method made available to Trusted Share recipients when their access to a share requires OTP-based authentication. The three options are Email & SMS, Email only, and SMS only. This feature is set within the Device Policy section of the admin console. Note that this setting will apply to all Trusted Shares whose sharing policy has OTP-based authentication being required (i.e., it is not set on a share-by-share basis).
ENHANCEMENTS
- Prevent refresh if there is content when creating a Trusted Share
During the creation of a Trusted Share, if there is content like an email address or message present, we block the refresh action and provide a notification to the user. This notification alerts them about unsaved changes that will be lost, allowing them to decide their next course of action (cancel or reload the page).
BUG FIXES
- On the Auditing page, the 'Action' and 'Date' options were displayed incorrectly in column visibility. This has been corrected and should no longer be the case.
- Guest users could not ‘View’ or ‘Download’ excel files that have long dash in the filename (—). This has been corrected and should no longer be the case.
- On the Auditing page, upon clicking to inspect the details of a bulk event, users were unable to see all the subfolders/files uploaded via the Bulk Upload Action. This has been corrected and should no longer be the case.
- On the Cloud Provider page, when the Actions menu was accessed and a user clicked to preview any file, the menu remained open and overlapped the displayed file. This has been corrected and should no longer be the case.
- The error message was incorrect when attempting to prevent the Access Link from being used to create shares from SharePoint, when the user lacked "Can edit" permissions. This has been corrected and should no longer be the case.
- On the auditing page, audit events visible to owners were not visible to co-owners. This has been corrected and should no longer be the case.
